Caravaggio is a Premium (foal) GOV registered 16.3-hand black gelding born 3/2005 by Westfalen Stallion, Caruso, out of our imported Stats Premium/Elite mare, Rosella (Donnerhall/Rubinstein I). “Gio” has been under saddle since 2008. Having been backed by German-born young-horse trainer, Klaus Schengber, “Gio” has developed three lovely gaits. He has experienced being ridden in the woods among cows, deer and anything else found at random. He loves to jump and has been schooled in combined training and the hunt. Rubinesque is a Premium (foal) GOV black mare, born in March, 2006 by Westfalen Stallion, Caruso, (Casaretto/Foxtrott) out of our imported Stats Premium/Elite mare, Rosella (Donnerhall/Rubinstein I).
This elegant young mare has very feminine lines and a fabulous temperament. Her movement is correct and fancy. Hunter riders, this is a quiet, pretty mare with floating trot. Her dam, Rosella, is recognized internationally by the GOV as a wonderful example of the breed, having proven herself as an Elite broodmare through her five all-Premium foals.
